Role Summary
The Interior Designer is a key strategic partner responsible for driving design innovation and market relevance across Afaq Group's portfolio (Medical & Hospitality). This role ensures all interior spaces are functional, compliant, and deliver a best-in-class aesthetic that maximizes guest/patient experience and brand value.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development & Market Insight
- Market Research & Trend Analysis: Proactively conduct market research to identify emerging design trends, materials, and technologies relevant to luxury hospitality and healthcare sectors, integrating findings into future development plans.
- New Plan Conceptualization: Lead the design and development planning for new sites and major renovations, focusing on optimal space utilization, flow, and user experience.
Conceptualization & Presentation
- High-Impact Presentations: Create and deliver professional design presentations (including 2D plans, 3D renderings, and mood boards) to Group Management and stakeholders to secure buy-in for multi-million-rupee projects.
- FF&E and Specification: Define, select, and specify all Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) and finishes, ensuring selections meet aesthetic vision, durability standards, and strict budget constraints.
Execution & Compliance
- Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive and technically accurate drawing packages (AutoCAD/Revit) for construction, coordinating seamlessly with architects and engineers.
- Site and Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to guarantee flawless execution of the design intent and full compliance with all local building codes and industry-specific regulations.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of dedicated experience in Interior Design, with a strong, verifiable portfolio, ideally in commercial/large-scale projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert command of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and presentation tools (Adobe Suite/PowerPoint).
- Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to translate market data and business objectives into actionable and successful interior design strategies.
- Professional Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
