Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team at Altairo. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to transform client needs into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces. This role involves overseeing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring that each design is meticulously executed while adhering to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand design requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations that reflect the client's vision.
- Create detailed drawings, layouts, and material specifications.
- Source and select materials, furniture, and finishes suitable for the project.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, vendors, and contractors to bring designs to life.
- Conduct site visits to take measurements, ensure design accuracy, and oversee implementation.
- Monitor project progress during execution, ensuring work is carried out as per design and quality standards.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and maintain project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Stay updated on current design trends, materials, and technologies.
- Ensure all designs comply with functional, safety, and aesthetic standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-5 years) in interior design or a related role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, or equivalent.
- Strong visualization, presentation, and detailing skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites for measurements, supervision, and coordination.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or corporate interiors.
- Knowledge of sustainable materials and modern design trends.
- Familiarity with vendor and contractor coordination.
- Experience in presenting design concepts independently to clients.
