Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Develop design concepts for various projects, which could involve creating mood boards, sketches, or digital renderings to communicate design ideas visually
- Help to arrange furniture, fixtures, and other elements within a given space to optimize functionality and aesthetics
- Suggest appropriate materials, finishes, fabrics, and color palettes based on the project's requirements
- Create and assemble design presentations for clients. This could include creating PowerPoint slides, design boards, or digital presentations to showcase design concepts
- Create computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and documents, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models
- Participate in creating physical or digital models of design concepts for presentation or visualization purposes
- Contribute to the preparation of design documentation, including material schedules, specifications, and design briefs
