Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled InteriorDesign Draftsman to create technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or project managers. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in using CAD software and an eye for precision to support our design and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
- Interpret and convert engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations into clear drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Modify and revise drawings as necessary based on feedback or site changes.
- Maintain a library of updated drawings and project documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project guidelines.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.
- Visit project sites for measurements, inspections, or verifications when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Drafting, Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, or other design tools is a plus.
- 25 years of relevant experience as a draftsman in [construction / MEP / civil / manufacturing customize as needed].
- Good understanding of technical drawings, materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of site procedures and technical documentation.
