Role Overview
As an SAP ABAP Consultant at BOSONTECH IT SERVICES, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom ABAP solutions to meet our clients specific business requirements.
You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clients SAP systems, contributing directly to their business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, to support various business processes for our clients.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ABAP development, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing of ABAP code to ensure quality and functionality, minimizing errors and maximizing system stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ABAP-related issues in a timely manner, minimizing disruption to business operations for our clients.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to design and implement end-to-end SAP solutions, ensuring seamless integration across modules.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals, to facilitate knowledge transfer and system maintenance.
- Optimize ABAP code for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient resource utilization and optimal system performance for our clients.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement custom ABAP solutions, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
- Proven experience in ABAP development, including proficiency in ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, and other relevant ABAP tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes, enabling effective collaboration with functional consultants and end-users.
- Experience with SAP HANA development, including CDS views and AMDP procedures, is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve ABAP-related issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and client needs.
