As an Interaction designer, you work with a multi-disciplinary team of stakeholders to deliver compelling UX solutions while acknowledging limitations and trade-offs. A successful candidate will partner with user experience specialists, product managers, medical practitioners, and engineers worldwide to solve complex problems with simple, intuitive, yet robust designs.

Location: Bengaluru

Travel requirement: up to once a month to development center in India

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the design activities for clinical applications which enable the key workflows of multidisciplinary care teams in delivering cancer care to patients around the world.
  • Understand and create user scenarios and task flow after a clear analysis of the intended use.
  • Create user journey maps for the product workflows / solutions.
  • Create clear information hierarchy and provide an overview system level interdependencies.
  • Produce a wide variety of artifacts from interaction models to pixel-perfect interaction designs to communicate concepts effectively.
  • Create interaction prototypes to effectively communicate and test the intended use of workflows and tasks
  • Evaluate proposed design solutions against pre-determined quality and success criteria and articulate the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary partners on approach, strategy, and processes.
  • Work closely with researchers to plan research activities, uncover unmet needs, and constantly validate that the design solutions meet all safety requirements.
  • Ensure all required design documentation comply with medical standards.
  • Actively engage with other designers to give and solicit feedback to continually ensure that the design solutions are smart, safe to use and of high quality.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in user experience design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your user-centered design thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • 4+ years of experience delivering great experience design as UX - interaction designer, information architect or similar.
  • Proficiency in design tools; we currently use Figma.
  • Experience working in close collaboration with engineering development team using an agile software development process.
  • Experience working on complex, enterprise products and ecosystems, in regulated industries is an asset.
  • Experience with good communication and presentation skills to a broad range of audiences
