Position: Intensivist Consultant
Hospital Type: Cardiac Hospital
Location: Karnal, Haryana
Qualification: MD / DNB Anesthesia / General Medicine / Pulmonary Medicine with Fellowship in Critical Care / IDCCM / DrNB Critical Care
Experience: Minimum 25 years preferred in ICU / Cardiac ICU
Job Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients in Cardiac ICU (CICU) including post-cardiac surgery and cardiac emergency cases
- Monitor hemodynamics and manage ventilator support, inotropes, and life support systems
- Perform critical care procedures such as intubation, central venous line insertion, arterial line placement, etc.
- Coordinate closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams for patient care
- Manage emergency situations such as cardiac arrest and code blue effectively
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain proper ICU documentation and patient records
- Ensure infection control protocols and ICU safety standards are followed
- Supervise ICU staff, RMOs, and nursing teams
