Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Controls Architecture Interface and installed correctly as per project design & system requirements.
- Interpret Engineering Drawings for Panel, Wiring harness and electrical peripherals, application of GD&T (Geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing) Generation of drawing for Part Manufacturing.
- Design and development of Control panel, wiring harness for engine, genset application - Drawing markup preparation work with supplier for proto build and component identification and selection for electronics and electrical products
- Lead the Engine / Genset build at Plant and support the controls integration portion
- Fault finding and troubleshooting in harness and control panel for functionality issues during integration and integration testing.
- Able to handle to client specific Engineering tools for ECM connectivity, Panel Serial link interface and other.
- Assures Controls installation quality by validating prototype Engine or Genset performance and ensuring installations meet design requirements
- Own problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, systems, subsystems or services with a greater degree of technical complexity and ambiguity with greater accountability to the project team.
- Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes with Design and plant team.
- Support Installation and commissioning activities at field
- Travel to client specific various site locations and field (25%)
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience Range: 4-6 years min (On job Experience)
- Qualification - Bachelor of Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Sound knowledge of GD&T (Geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing), Part modelling, Manufacturing Processes of Engine component,
- Integration and troubleshooting skills for various electrical and electronics parts or sub-systems into a whole to achieve the project deliverables
- Use of client specific Standard tools, processes
- Identify best practices to ensure optimization of performance, reliability, cost and quality.
- Analyze technical issues using proven problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques for rapid resolution during build Step 3 and Step 6 actions.
- Product Installation Quality - Identifies and applies ways to improve machine integration to minimize rework and deliver the best product
- Collaborates with teams & communicates effectively - CFT and Plant team to drive projects
- Design & Analysis skills: Creo, Windchill & AutoCAD – added advantage
