As an Integration Consultant, you'll be responsible for creating customized solutions for US-based clients, addressing their interfacing requirements with UKG products. This role demands an in-depth understanding of HCM or WFM concepts and strong SQL knowledge to develop these solutions. You'll utilize a defined implementation process to meet established milestones and targeted completion dates.
You'll develop Stored Procedures using SQL to export and import data between third-party applications and UKG Pro.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and interpret client requirements for integrations.
- Transform client requirements into functional SQL stored procedures.
- Keep customers updated on project progress using JIRA.
- Perform coding, testing, and deployment of interfaces.
- Provide necessary support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Complete production deployments.
- Execute upgrades for existing UKG customers from lower versions to more compatible and recent versions, ensuring a like-for-like solution by porting the full-suite UKG implementation. A comprehensive understanding of the UKG solution is crucial for successful upgrades and deployments.
- Demonstrate flexibility for client calls in the evening (US hours) and support major releases and upgrades during US hours when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 1-6 years of industry experience.
- Experience in creating interfaces for upstream/downstream systems using Microsoft SQL.
- Domain knowledge of HCM or WFM is an additional advantage.
- Involvement in the design, build, test, deploy, and scheduling of integration processes involving third-party systems.
- Knowledge of Rest API, SOAP framework, XML, and Web service design would be a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good customer interfacing skills.
