Role & responsibilities
- Installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments (PT, TT, FT, LT).
- Loop checking and commissioning of control systems.
- Troubleshooting of 420 mA signals, HART communication, and control wiring issues.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of instruments and control valves.
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Assisting in plant shutdown and startup activities.
- Ensuring adherence to safety procedures (LOTO & hazardous area safety).
- Preparing maintenance reports and updating records in CMMS/SAP (if applicable).
- Coordinating with operations and electrical teams to ensure smooth plant operation.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation or related field.
- 1-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
- Experience in calibration, loop checking, and troubleshooting of instruments.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Familiar with 420 mA and HART communication protocols.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and LOTO procedures.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work in shifts and shutdown activities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
