Key Responsibilities
- Review client tender documents, specifications, data sheets, and project scope for I&C requirements.
- Finalize design basis, instrument index, I/O lists, and instrument BOM.
- Perform instrument sizing calculations (control valves, ESD valves, flow elements).
- Prepare & Review (Contractor documents) for FEED & detailed engineering deliverables:
- Instrument datasheets
- Hook-up drawings
- Cable schedules
- Loop diagrams
- Junction box layouts
- Control room layouts
- Panel specifications (RTU/PLC/SCADA cabinets)
- Understand and Develop control narratives, cause & effect matrices, shutdown logic, and alarm philosophy.
- Review and validate P&IDs and ensure alignment with control and safety systems.
- Support to review SCADA, and telecom related documents
- Prepare technical specifications for instruments, analysers, RTUs, and control systems.
- Evaluate vendor offers, review technical documents, and participate in TBE
- Interface with mechanical, electrical, civil, process, and SCADA teams for integrated engineering deliverables.
- Provide technical support for construction, commissioning, and site queries.
- Ensure and update client specification with relevant standards: ASME, API, ISA, IEC, OISD, PNGRB, and client-specific standards.
- Participated in SIL review, HAZOP study
