They are currently seeking a Regional Service Engineer to join their dynamic team and support clients across South India.
Job Summary
The Regional Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support of biotech equipment across the assigned region. This is a field-based role with a work-from-home setup when not on client visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Set up and commission biotech equipment including fermenters, ultrafiltration systems, and lab water purification systems.
- Breakdown Support: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize client downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance for optimal equipment performance.
- Customer Training: Provide basic operational and maintenance training to clients.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed service logs, reports, and documentation.
- Travel: Travel frequently within Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana for service visits.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in installation or servicing of biotech/pharma or similar technical equipment.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of biotech/pharma lab equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA-based control systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and instruments.
Other Requirements:
- Based in Bangalore or Hyderabad.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the South India region.
- Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation preferred.
- Languages: Hindi, English, and at least one South Indian language.
