Job Description:

  • Prepare and review detailed engineering documents, including:
  • Instrument Index, I/O list, Data Sheets, Hook-up drawings, and Cable schedules
  • Control philosophy, Logic diagrams, and Cause & Effect matrix
  • Control system architecture (DCS/PLC/ESD/SCADA) design
  • Review vendor documents for analysers, transmitters, control valves, safety valves, skids, and packages.
  • Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, and electrical disciplines to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, ATEX, SIL, and other applicable standards.
  • Support HAZOP, SIL assessment, and participate in design reviews.
  • Manage instrumentation procurement technical bid evaluation, vendor discussions, and inspection.
  • Oversee field instrumentation installation, loop checking, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and clients during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Provide technical support during start-up and stabilisation of hydrogen plant operations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation / Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: 3-6 years in Control & Instrumentation engineering.
  • Knowledge of PLC/DCS programming, communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC), and integration with SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classification (ATEX/IECEx), SIL-rated systems, and functional safety practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
