Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Construction Engineer for a project-based assignment (duration: 1 year +) at our Haldia site.
Responsibilities
- Erection, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of process instruments including LT, TT, FT, Analyzers, Tuning Fork, field instruments, Valves, GC, Control Valves, DCS, PLC, etc.
- Installation & testing of cable tray, laying of cable, earthing, interface & synchronization with the system.
- Exposure to Control Systems such as DCS, ESD, F&Gs (preferable).
- Hands-on experience in Oil & Gas projects is mandatory; Offshore and LNG project experience is an added advantage.
- Ensure Quality, Budget and Schedule adherence for Instrumentation activities.
- Experience in both Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
- Strong knowledge of International Codes and Standards.
- Experience with SAT activities for DCS/PLC systems.
- Proficiency in Loop checking, Logic checking, Interlock checking, etc.
- Coordination with Vendor, Client, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Good understanding of P&IDs, Cable schedules, JB schedules, Cable tray layouts, hookup drawings, Cause and Effect diagrams, and Control System documents.
- Resolve contractor drawing related queries with the execution team.
- Coordinate with Project teams, Consultants, Contractors, and Suppliers for timely completion of project activities.
- Supervise construction activities including site preparation and instrumentation work.
- Conduct and coordinate Quality checks, Cold Loop checks, Hot Loop checks, Interlock checks, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities.
- Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process Engineers to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems.
