Instructional Designer / Learning Designer

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Work Model: On-site (Work from Office)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to create engaging, high-quality, student-centred learning experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with faculty subject matter experts, learning technologists, and media teams to design and develop effective online, blended, and face-to-face courses for adult learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design instructionally sound online, blended, and classroom-based learning content
  • Collaborate with faculty SMEs to develop and revise course materials aligned to curriculum goals
  • Ensure strong alignment between learning outcomes, competencies, assessments, and activities
  • Design learner-focused courses suited to adult and online learners
  • Integrate instructional media to enhance engagement, interaction, and motivation
  • Manage multiple course development projects and meet strict delivery timelines
  • Write clear and effective instructional content, including online guidance and audio/video scripts
  • Research and apply emerging learning technologies and instructional best practices

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience in instructional design, learning design, teaching, training, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theories
  • Proven skills in storyboarding, visualization, and creative instructional writing
  • Experience with Articulate 360, Canvas, SharePoint or similar learning platforms
  • Knowledge of e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI) and virtual learning environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing interactive or multimedia learning content
  • QA experience in e-learning environments
  • Copy-editing and proofreading skills
  • Background in training, education management, or technology-related disciplines
  • Experience working in large or reputed organizations
