Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for an Instructional Designer who can convert complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and visually strong PowerPoint presentations aligned with the Intellipaat brand. Your core focus will be to design instructor-led classroom decks that look premium, teach effectively, and stay consistent across courses.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality, visually appealing PPT decks for instructor-led and recorded learning programs

Convert raw inputs (SME notes, outlines, blogs, recordings, PDFs) into structured, learner-friendly slides

Apply instructional design principles (learning objectives, flow, concept scaffolding, recall, practice)

Maintain Intellipaat brand consistency: colors, typography, layouts, iconography, tone, visual language

Build reusable slide assets: templates, layouts, diagrams, tables, visual frameworks, callouts

Create/curate visuals: icons, illustrations, flowcharts, architecture diagrams, process maps, timelines

Collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and content teams to iterate quickly and improve learning quality

Ensure decks are classroom-ready (trainer notes, activities, examples, checkpoints, recap slides)

Improve existing PPTs to make them cleaner, more modern, and more instructionally effective

Follow internal checklists for quality: readability, alignment, visual hierarchy, and consistency.

Must-Have Skills

Strong expertise in PowerPoint (advanced layouts, masters, grids, animations/transitions where needed)

Solid understanding of Instructional Design and how learners process information

Excellent visual sense: typography, spacing, alignment, color, hierarchy

Ability to simplify technical content without losing accuracy

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight timelines

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with Figma / Canva / Adobe Illustrator (or similar design tools)

Ability to design infographics, frameworks, and clean technical diagrams

Exposure to EdTech / technical domains (Cloud, DevOps, Data, AI, Full Stack)

Basic understanding of adult learning models (Bloom's taxonomy, Gagn, Mayer's

principles)

What Success Looks Like (Output Expectations)

Each deck is beautiful + consistent + instructor-friendly

Slides are easy to teach from: clear flow, examples, activities, summaries

Learners understand faster, retain more, and stay engaged

Decks feel Intellipaat-level in polish and professionalism

Experience & Qualifications

14 years experience in Instructional Design / Presentation Design / Learning Content Development

Strong portfolio of PPT work (mandatory)
