Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to develop engaging and effective learning experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design instructional materials that meet organizational and learner goals across corporate, academic, or digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Needs Analysis & Learning Objectives

• Conduct assessments to identify learning gaps and define measurable learning outcomes

2. Curriculum & Content Design

• Develop course structures, storyboards, and instructional strategies using models like ADDIE or SAM

• Create detailed design documents including learning objectives, content outlines, storyboards, and assessment strategies

• Create multimedia content including presentations, videos, simulations, and e- learning modules 3. Assessment & Evaluation

• Design quizzes, assignments, and feedback mechanisms to evaluate learner performance and course effectiveness

4. Technology Integration

• Utilize tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, LMS platforms, and analytics tools to enhance learning delivery

5. Project Management

• Manage timelines, resources, and documentation for instructional design projects

6. Digital Learning & Innovation

• Leverage authoring tools (such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar) to design engaging digital content

• Integrate multimedia elements, interactivity, gamification, and scenario-based learning

• Explore and apply emerging trends such as AI-enabled learning, adaptive learning, and performance support tools

7. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and clients to understand requirements and gather feedback

• Present design concepts and solutions confidently to the stakeholders

• Manage expectations, timelines, and scope changes effectively

8. Collaboration & Training

• Work with SMEs, graphic designers, and trainers to ensure content accuracy and delivery quality

• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and support faculty/staff training

• Strong team player who actively shares knowledge and best practices to improve processes and elevate overall deliverable quality

9. Project Coordination

• Work closely with project manager to ensure timely delivery of projects

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines

• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in instructional design

10. Quality Assurance & Accessibility

• Ensure content meets accessibility standards and undergoes regular updates for relevance and accuracy Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong grasp of instructional design theories and learning models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy)

• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms

• Excellent content structuring, writing, and storytelling skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills

• Project management and analytical thinking

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and UX/UI principles

• Ability to work in an agile, fast-moving workflow and to work on multiple projects Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Educational Technology, or related field

• Degree or certification in Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design or eLearning tools are a plus

• 3+ years of experience in instructional design or e-learning development
