About the Role
We are looking for a high-impact Instructional Design Manager who can transform learning into a compelling, premium experience.
This role goes beyond content creation — it is about storytelling, simplification, beautification, and branding of learning. You will design learning experiences that are engaging, easy to understand, and outcome-driven.
You will work closely with product and academic teams to build content that drives strong learning experiences and strong outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Storyline & Learning Experience Design
- Design end-to-end learning journeys with strong narrative flow
- Convert raw technical content into engaging, structured storylines
- Build module flow: Hook → Concept → Application → Outcome
- Ensure every module is aligned with real-world use cases
2. Simplifying Complex Concepts
- Break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations
- Translate expert-level content into beginner-friendly learning
- Use analogies, examples, and storytelling to improve clarity and retention
- Ensure learners can grasp and apply concepts quickly
3. Content Beautification & Structuring
- Transform raw content (PPTs, docs, modules) into premium, polished learning materials
- Improve visual structure, flow, and readability
- Apply modern instructional design principles:
- Chunking
- Scaffolding
- Microlearning
- Work with design teams to enhance visual storytelling
4. Learning Content Branding
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and experience across all programs
- Build a distinct learning identity aligned with brand positioning
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure content reflects premium and outcome-driven positioning
5. Instructional Design Guidelines & Frameworks
- Create and implement Instructional Design SOPs and playbooks
- Define standards for:
- Course structure
- Module flow
- Assessments
- Projects & case studies
- Ensure scalability and consistency across programs
6. Team Handling & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor a team of Instructional Designers / Content Developers
- Collaborate with:
- Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Product Team
- Marketing Team
- Drive content quality, consistency, and continuous improvement
7. Training & Capability Building
- Train internal teams on:
- Instructional design principles
- Content structuring
- Storytelling in learning
- Conduct workshops to improve overall content quality across teams
- Build a strong culture of high-quality learning design
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–8+ years of experience in Instructional Design / Learning Experience Design
- Should be B. Tech and exposure to tech skills like AI, ML, and others are a plus.
- Exceptional ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, intuitive explanations
- Strong expertise in:
- Storytelling in education
- Curriculum design
- Content structuring
- Strong understanding of:
- Adult learning principles
- Outcome-based education
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on clarity, brevity, and impact
- Experience in team handling or mentoring
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive execution
