The Opportunity
We're building our Institutional Sales vertical from the ground up. This is a senior, high-ownership role for someone who can open doors with corporates, government bodies, hospitality chains, wedding planners, and cultural institutions and convert them into long-term, recurring revenue partnerships.
What You Will Do
- Build and own Indian Silk House Agencies institutional sales vertical from 0 to 1 strategy, pipeline, team, and revenue targets
- Identify and acquire corporate clients for bulk gifting (Diwali, employee milestones, client appreciation, festive occasions)
- Develop partnerships with hospitality chains (hotels, resorts, airlines) for uniform sarees, staff gifting, and guest welcome kits
- Build relationships with government and PSU procurement teams for bulk uniform/saree orders and cultural event partnerships
- Create a dedicated corporate gifting catalogue curated collections, custom packaging, co-branding options, and tiered pricing
- Develop B2B partnerships with wedding planners, event companies, trousseau consultants, and export houses
- Negotiate large-value contracts, manage payment terms, and ensure on-time delivery working closely with supply chain and ops teams
- Represent brand at industry events, trade fairs, corporate expos, and networking platforms to build the brand's B2B presence
What We're Looking For
- 815 years of experience in institutional / corporate / B2B sales, with at least 34 years in a senior / leadership capacity
- Proven track record of managing large-value B2B accounts (1 Cr+ annual value per client) and building institutional sales pipelines from scratch
- Prior experience in fashion, ethnic wear, lifestyle, luxury, hospitality, or gifting industries strongly preferred
- Existing network of corporate procurement heads, HR leaders, admin heads, or hospitality decision-makers is a significant advantage
- Ability to build bespoke proposals, make executive-level presentations, and close complex deals with long sales cycles
