PhotonX Technologies is a Hyderabad-based digital agency specialising in web development, UX/UI design, and Webflow solutions. We work with high-growth startups and brands including our sister venture WeNext.ai, India's leading WhatsApp commerce platform. This role will be fully embedded within the WeNext.ai content team, owning the Instagram Reels strategy for the brand.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Reels Content Planner & Creator (13 years experience) who thinks in hooks, tracks trends obsessively, and knows how to build an audience on Instagram. You'll plan, script, and drive WeNext.ai's short-form content engine coordinating with the video editor to publish consistently high-performing Reels, analyze performance metrics, iterate on content strategies, and ensure consistent brand voice and growth across platforms.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage a monthly Instagram Reels content calendar for WeNext.ai
- Research trends, audio, formats, and hooks relevant to D2C founders, SMB owners, and marketers
- Write scripts and shot briefs for each Reel
- Coordinate with the video editor for production and timely delivery
- Track performance metrics (reach, saves, shares, follows) and iterate
- Ideate campaign concepts, content series, and viral content angles
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form ideas
- Stay ahead of Instagram algorithm changes and platform updates
What We're Looking For
- 13 years of experience in social media content planning or digital marketing
- Deep understanding of Instagram Reels formats, hooks, trends, and what converts
- Strong writing and scripting skills punchy, concise, platform-native
- Data-driven mindset you track what works and double down
- Familiarity with tools like Metricool, Later, Notion, or similar
- Bonus: prior experience with SaaS, D2C, or B2B brand content
- Bonus: your own Instagram account with an engaged following
