Job Description
Project Name: Project Management Consultancy Services (PMC) for Construction of Double line electrified Railway Track with signalling and telecommunication system and related infrastructure for the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Project.
Functional Area: Inspection/Testing/Commissioning (Telecom)-1
Location: Navi Mumbai
Duration: 12 months
Qualification: Minimum B.E./B.Tech. (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) / Diploma (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering)
Overall Professional Experience: The Candidate Shall have minimum 5 years of total experience in assigned position preferably on IR/Metro and / or other railway projects.
Preferred Age: Below 35 years.
Experience Required: You are responsible for field execution of all works related to execution and supervision of S&T, including but not limited Carry out Regular Site Inspection: Conduct regular field checks and tests to ensure that work has been carried out as per agreed specification and standards, Specify the system of tests checks for Contractor's Request for Inspection (RFI) at all appropriate levels by Supervisor, ARE and RE. Conduct Type Test, Factory Acceptance Test for S&T systems. Inspection and approval for indoor works accrued out at stations & site huts. Carrying out PAT/SAT of variations substations and electronic interlocking. Examine Field Performance Test for Train Operation, Telecom System. Inspect Testing all materials and facilities/devices. Carry out all tests specified in the related schedule of the Contract and issue Completion Certificate/Provisional Certificate. Scrutinize registration of daily consumption of material, various activities/output of design and construction activities to be maintained by Contractor. Liasioning with Civil and S&T contractors including State Authorities to ensure smooth commissioning of the section. After commissioning ensuring rectification of defects.
Reporting to Dy. CRE, RE, AREs and Managing Director of OC India HO.
