Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kolkata for an Inside Sales Support Executive / Office Assistant. The role involves assisting the sales team in lead generation, coordinating with clients, supporting customer service operations, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining sales records, responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with various departments, and assisting in the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth business processes.

Qualifications

  • Good command of written and spoken English (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Inside Sales and Lead Generation techniques
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Ability to assist with Sales operations and support key sales functions
  • Proficiency in using office software and CRM tools to manage sales data and operations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in a similar role or in the electrical or technology sector is an advantage
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming leads from sales teams, website, email, and other channels.

• Perform customer outreach via email and phone for follow-ups and enquiries.

• Prepare and share quotations, basic proposals, and product information.

• Maintain and update CRM data, customer records, and sales pipelines.

• Support the field sales team with documentation, follow-ups, and coordination.

• Plan and execute basic email campaigns and customer communications.

• Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, order status, and dispatch updates.

• Maintain organized records of enquiries, quotes, and conversions.

• Assist in creating basic marketing collaterals (presentations, email creatives, flyers).

• Use AI tools to improve productivity in content drafting, email writing, and data handling.

Preferred / Added Advantages

• Experience in B2B sales support or electrical industry is a plus.

  • Conversance with digital marketing / online posting / Email marketing
  • Familiarity with GEM portal and other e-commerce platforms is preferred

• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Canva, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, email drafting, or data handling.

• Understanding of electrical products or willingness to learn technical basics.
