Day-to-Day Activities:Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Cold Calling

  • Conduct high-volume cold calling to CXO, VP, Director, and Manager-level prospects across the Canada region.
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and schedule discovery calls/meetings for the sales leadership team.
  • Maintain strong call cadence (daily, weekly targets) to ensure continuous top-of-funnel activity.

Client Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Engage with existing contacts to strengthen relationships and schedule regular check-ins or capability discussions.
  • Nurture warm leads through follow-ups, email campaigns, and ongoing communication.
  • Present company capabilities, service offerings, and value propositions confidently during initial discussions.

Account & Org Mapping

  • Research target accounts to map organizational structures, buying centers, and key decision-makers.
  • Identify cross-selling, up-selling, and whitespace opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Seek and secure referrals from existing client contacts to expand the network and create additional leads.

Sales Funnel & Reporting

  • Update all interactions, call notes, and lead status in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
  • Work closely with onsite Sales Directors, Account Managers, and Marketing teams to align on pipeline goals.
  • Prepare weekly reports on call activities, lead quality, meeting outcomes, and conversion metrics.

Requirements

  • Experience:6-8 years of professional experience Banking & Financial Services (Mandatory) - US and Canada
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks
  • Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of Inside Sales / Lead Generation experience in an IT Services organization.
  • Mandatory experience in Banking & Financial Services (BFS) domainshould understand key industry trends, transformation initiatives, and common buying centers.
  • Proven experience in selling IT services such as application development, digital engineering, cloud services, data & analytics, QA, or managed services.
  • Strong cold calling skills with ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken & written) tailored for North American clients.
  • Experience working in North America/Canada shifts or supporting that region.

  • Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience working with CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
  • Prior exposure to demand generation campaigns, email prospecting, or LinkedIn outreach.
  • Understanding of Canadian market nuances, BFS regulatory environment, and client landscape.
