Job Summary: Remote based sales specialist who will support the local field sales team in multiple aspects including customer calls targeted retail and grower, as well as building out market analytics and sales presentations. This role will focus on reaching out to the Tier II accounts that are prospects / pipeline allowing our field team to concentrate time on the CL100.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Interaction Proactive calling of Retail and Grower Targets to inform about UPL
Will be responsible for generating $1.5M in sales per year via email/ messaging
Frequent connect to targeted Retailers and Growers across the NFC region
Tell the UPL story and inform customer of New Product Launch and Financing Offer
Focus on 12 key brands including NPP / ST that will differentiate UPL to amplify our message
Follow up with email of requested information and funnel leads to TSM if further follow up needed
Track daily call activity and send weekly report to Regional Sales Manager
Review monthly Cross Sell and Churn Opportunities by Account/Region for top 10 and update Region and KAM with updated status
Prepare customer specific pricing reports and offers to be reviewed by KAM Head and KAM/RAM
Pricing Analytics by Product, Account, Region.
Market Analytics and Sales Enablement
Create market and competitor analytics for targeted micro markets based on crop / portfolio
Identify Market Share opportunity by state based on cropping acres per state
Access Grower Information via DTN data and public source data to build top 1000 Grower Hit List
Develop customer presentations in PowerPoint and support with slides as needed
General sales support to Region as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook, in particular)
3+ years in working with Data Analytics, Customer Service or Sales Function
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for the US market / customer base
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
