Job Description

Role: Inside Sales Representative

Experience: 2-6 Years

Location: Chennai

Work mode- Remote

Role overview-

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will generate pipeline, qualify leads, and drive meetings and early-stage opportunities for cybersecurity solutions and services, partnering closely with field sales and technical teams. The ISR will use phone, email, LinkedIn, and virtual demos to build relationshipx1s, align use-cases to customer needs (e.g., SIEM, WAF, DLP, ZTNA), and advance qualified opportunities to closure with account executives.

Key responsibilities-

  • Prospecting and lead gen: Run high-volume outreach via calls, email, and social to book meetings and create qualified opportunities across priority accounts and territories.
  • Qualification: Perform discovery on pain points such as compliance, threat detection, data protection, and modernization, and map to SecBounty services (SIEM, WAF, IPS, NAC, DLP, DAM).
  • Pipeline management: Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, track stages, forecast weekly, and meet KPIs for meetings set, SQLs, and conversion rates.
  • Sales enablement: Schedule demos/POCs with consultants, coordinate responses to RFPs/RFIs, and support proposal development.
  • Campaign execution: Execute targeted campaigns with marketing for BFSI and enterprise segments; follow up on inbound and event leads promptly.
  • Market intel: Capture competitive signals and customer feedback to refine messaging and playbooks for SIEM, WAF, DLP, and DAM offerings.
  • Collaboration: Partner with account executives and solution engineers to progress deals from discovery to handover and assist in transactional cycles.

Required qualifications-

  • 26 years in inside sales/BDR/SDR roles, preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise IT services.
  • Working knowledge of security domains such as SIEM, WAF, IPS, NAC, DLP, DAM; ability to articulate value around detection, compliance, and data protection.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, cadence tools, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Track record of meeting activity and pipeline creation targets via cold outreach and inbound qualification.

Preferred skills-

  • Experience booking meetings and qualifying for complex services like QRadar SIEM implementations, Imperva WAF/DAM, and Forescout NAC.
  • Familiarity with BFSI and compliance-driven opportunities (e.g., RBI, ISO 27001, SOC 2, DPDPA) to position audits and security controls.
  • Comfort aligning multi-product narratives (SIEM + WAF + DLP) to zero trust and data protection outcomes.

Success metrics-

  • Meetings set and SQLs per month; conversion from MQL to SQL and SQL to opportunity.
  • Pipeline coverage versus quarterly targets and forecast accuracy.secutec
  • Responsiveness to inbound SLAs and quality of discovery notes and next steps in CRM.
