Role Overview
The Inside Sales Manager drives pipeline growth through inbound and proactive outbound efforts while leading a small team of BDRs. This hands-on role reports to a sales manager, uses CRM tools like Salesforce, and focuses on tech/SaaS sectors such as retail or manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify inbound leads via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and social outreach to meet personal quotas.
- Coach team members on cadences, scripts, and metrics; conduct reviews and handle escalations.
- Analyze performance data (e.g., lead to opportunity conversion rates, pipeline velocity) and refine strategies with sales/marketing.
- Onboard new hires, foster learning, and optimize research tools.
- Collaborate on lead handoffs to sales executives, aligning with territory models.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in Inside Sales/ BDR / sales roles with quota attainment; leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM, sales engagement platforms, and data-driven prospecting.
- Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills for fast-paced environments.
