We are expanding our project execution and require a strong Estimation Engineer to ensure accurate costing, profitable proposals, and timely bid submissions.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)1. Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation

• Study tender documents, GA drawings, SLD, and technical specifications
• Prepare BOQ for panels, PLC, drives, cabling, instruments & installation
• Prepare material cost, engineering cost, site cost & commissioning cost
• Estimate man-days for engineering, panel wiring & site activities

2. Quotation & Tender Support

• Prepare detailed techno-commercial costing sheets
• Support Sales team for:
• Budgetary offers
• Final customer quotations
• Tender pricing & negotiations
• Ensure margins are maintained as per company policy

3. Vendor & Price Management

• Take quotations from:
• Siemens
• Panel accessories
• Cable & field devices
• Sub-vendors
• Maintain price database for standard items
• Analyze make vs buy decisions

4. Project Handover Support

• After order:
• Freeze BOQ
• Transfer costing to Project & Purchase teams
• Explain scope, risks, and cost assumptions

5. Cost Control & Monitoring

• Compare:
• Estimated cost vs actual cost
• Identify cost leakage
• Provide improvement points for future estimation accuracy

Required Skills & Experience
