LMES Academy is an EduTech startup based in Chennai with a vision to simplify science and promote conceptual learning among students. Our aim is to create a natural passion for science and encourage students to pursue science and technology as a profession through innovation. Currently, we organize science workshops for school students under the name Big Bang and have plans to expand our company this year.

Job Description:

A business development executive is a sales professional who helps an organisation to grow by identifying and developing new business opportunities. Their duties include searching for new clients, finding new potential services to offer, and helping the company expand to new markets.

Role: Business Development Executive

Experience : Minimum 6 months

Location: Urapakkam

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
  • New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
  • Drive sales by achieving monthly and quarterly targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Maintain accurate sales and client records

Requirements & Skills:

  • Hindi Speaking is an added advantage
  • Must have experience in cold calling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the education or EdTech industry is a plus
