Convogenie AI is a bootstrapped B2B AI SaaS startup dedicated to bringing practical AI solutions to India's vast small and medium business (SMB) ecosystem.

Our Vision

To empower every Indian SMB with effective, easy-to-use AI tools that automate workflows, improve customer engagement, and drive real business growth, making AI accessible and impactful for local businesses without unnecessary complexity.

We're already delivering on this vision: With 200+ paying customers and generating more high-quality warm inbound leads than our current team can handle alone, we need proven closers to help convert this demand quickly. We actively use our own AI tools internally to fuel this steady lead flow, giving our sales team a clear advantage.

We're hiring two Inside Sales Executives to join our lean, high-impact team in Mysore, Karnataka. This full-time, on-site role is built for experienced closers: you'll focus on high-velocity deal conversion with abundant warm leads, allowing quick ramp-up and strong earnings through performance.

Compensation

  • Fixed salary: 68 Lakhs per annum (commensurate with experience).
  • Attractive variable pay (performance-based incentives, to be discusseddesigned for high earners who consistently hit targets). We offer Bangalore-competitive total compensation while providing Mysore's superior quality of lifelower costs, less stress, and a sharper focus on sales success.

Key Requirements (please only apply if you meet these, we're prioritizing fast closers with proven results):

  • 23+ years of inside sales experience selling tech/SaaS products to SMBs (ideally in India).
  • Good knowledge of AI models, Large Language Models (LLMs), and recent AI developments.
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
  • Proficiency in Hindi (spoken fluency essential; you'll be communicating directly with Hindi-speaking SMB owners across India). Proficiency in English also required.
  • Willingness to relocate to Mysore (we provide one-time relocation compensation).

Interview Process

We keep it focused and efficient (3 rounds total):

  • Round 1: Initial conversation with one founder (30-45 mins). Focus on your sales experience, achievements, technical/AI knowledge, and initial motivation.
  • Round 2: Skills demonstration (45 mins). You'll prepare and deliver a short product demo of Convogenie AI (we'll share materials in advance), followed by role-play for objection handling and pitching to an SMB scenario. This tests your technical prowess and closing style.
  • Round 3: Cultural and vision fit discussion with both founders (30-45 mins). Deeper dive into alignment with our mission, work style, and long-term goals.
