- Technical Consultation and Support:
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable hydraulic solutions, which may include selecting appropriate pumps, valves, cylinders, power units, hoses, and fittings.
- Conduct technical discussions and provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and troubleshooting.
- Interpret and design basic hydraulic circuit diagrams to support customer applications.
- Sales Process Management:
- Generate and manage sales inquiries, leads, and follow-ups to convert them into business orders.
- Prepare competitive quotations, proposals, and bills of material (BOQ).
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Coordination and Documentation:
- Coordinate with internal engineering, design, and production teams for customized solutions, accurate order processing, and timely delivery.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer and sales data.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and documentation (e.g., datasheets, technical presentations).
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer objections and resolve product-related problems efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education:A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, E&I or a related field is typically required. Freshers can also apply.
- Experience:Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or application engineering within the hydraulics or industrial equipment sector is preferred
- Technical Knowledge:Strong, hands-on understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and their applications.
- Soft Skills:Excellent verbal/written communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Tools:Proficiency in ERP and experience using CRM software
