Job Title: Molding Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Injection & Blow Moulding Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate, monitor, and maintain injection and blow moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both molding

processes, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to ensure production efficiency while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Location: Indore.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate injection moulding and blow moulding machines as per production plans and product

specifications.

Adjust machine settings, such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to achieve optimal molding results.

Monitor and control injection molding processes to ensure product quality and consistency.

Conduct regular inspections of molded parts to identify defects or issues and take corrective actions as needed.

Perform mold changes, setups, and tooling adjustments accurately and efficiently.

Troubleshoot and resolve any machine or molding issues to minimize downtime and maintain production

targets.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the injection molding area and workstations.

Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on injection molding machines to ensure

optimal performance.

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Record production data, including cycle times, scrap rates, and machine downtime, and report to supervisors.

Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet the required specifications and standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

Train and mentor junior operators to improve their skills and knowledge in injection molding processes.

Requirements:

Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in injection molding are a plus.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Injection Moulding and/or Blow Moulding.

Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, machine operation, and troubleshooting techniques.

Familiarity with different types of injection molding machines and their control systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality products.

Basic understanding of maintenance and repair of injection molding machines.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy molds or materials.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing setting.

Flexibility to work in shifts or overtime as required.
