Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Injection Mold Designer located in Chennai. The key responsibilities include designing injection molds and tooling components, creating detailed engineering drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet product and production requirements. The role also involves reviewing and improving existing designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing the mold manufacturing process to ensure quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tooling Design and Mold Design
- Expertise in Design Engineering principles and practices
- Strong understanding of Injection Molding processes
- Capability to work with CAD software and other specialized tools for mold and engineering designs
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field is preferred
- Relevant experience in injection mold design for manufacturing and production settings is advantageous
