We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Monitoring Specialist (L2) to deliver and enhance monitoring capabilities across complex IT environments. The role focuses on ensuring proactive, efficient, and standardised monitoring aligned with observability frameworks. You will collaborate with domain hosting teams and business units to implement effective monitoring strategies, improve existing setups, and ensure optimal system performance. This position plays a key role in driving automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement of monitoring services across distributed infrastructure.

Your tasks
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure monitoring solutions
- Collaborating with teams to design and implement effective monitoring strategies
- Ensuring proper monitoring coverage across infrastructure systems
- Maintaining and updating monitoring baselines and configurations
- Analysing and optimising existing monitoring setups for efficiency, standardisation, and automation
- Supporting monitoring data analysis and alerting mechanisms
- Working with stakeholders to improve monitoring processes and service quality
- Engaging with vendors and external partners for monitoring enhancements
- Preparing documentation for monitoring configurations, processes, and guidelines
- Ensuring governance and adherence to defined monitoring standards
- Communicating monitoring insights and updates to stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure monitoring or a similar role
- Expertise in infrastructure monitoring solution installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Ability to collaborate on monitoring strategy design and implementation
- Knowledge of monitoring coverage across infrastructure systems
- Experience in monitoring baseline and configuration management
- Capability to analyse and optimise monitoring setups for efficiency and automation
- Proficiency in monitoring data analysis and alerting mechanisms
- Competence in stakeholder collaboration for process and service improvement
- Experience working with vendors and external partners
- Strong documentation skills for monitoring configurations and processes
- Understanding of governance and adherence to monitoring standards
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level - ability to work in an international environment
Nice to have
- Previous work with AIOps tools (Moogsoft, BigPanda, ServiceNow)
- Certifications in Cloud, VMware, RHEL, Storage, or ITIL
- Exposure to distributed monitoring environments
- Experience in automation and process improvement initiatives
