Infrastructure Engineer, Systematic Trading Platform (Gurgaon, India)

A leading systematic investment platform is seeking Infrastructure Engineers to build and scale high-performance research and trading systems. This role spans low-latency trading infrastructure, simulation platforms, and data engineering, working closely with researchers and traders to support alpha generation and live trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise low-latency, high-throughput trading and research systems (C++ / Python)
• Build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for large financial datasets
• Support development of backtesting, simulation, and model evaluation tools
• Work closely with researchers and traders to deliver performance-driven solutions
• Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
• 2+ years of experience in C++ development within performance-critical environments
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++17/20) and systems-level programming
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and distributed architectures
• Experience building low-latency / high-throughput systems
• Working knowledge of Python (NumPy, SciPy)
• Exposure to market data, time-series systems, or trading infrastructure is a plus
