Job Description

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) across Windows, Linux, and Unix platforms.
Manage deployment of enterprise applications on WAS, including application-specific settings and resource management.
Monitor and administer WebSphere server instances, including starting/stopping servers, configuring clusters, and ensuring high availability.
Analyze performance and implement tuning strategies for WebSphere servers and hosted applications.
Implement security measures, including secure communication protocols, user authentication, and access control.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate WAS with other services such as IBM HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and cloud environments like AWS.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
