A leading global financial services firm is seeking a highly skilled
Infrastructure DR and BCP Specialist to join their dynamic team in Pune.
Key Responsibilities
- DR and BCP Strategy: Develop, implement, and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans aligned with business objectives.
- Infrastructure Expertise: Deep understanding of diverse infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, cloud technologies, and mainframe systems.
- DR Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous DR drills and tests to validate recovery procedures, identify vulnerabilities, and refine strategies.
- Automation: Leverage automation tools to streamline DR and BCP processes, reducing recovery time objectives (RTOs) and minimizing human error.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate effectively with vendors to ensure compliance with service level agreements and optimize DR solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry standards to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
- Risk Assessment: Proactively identify and assess potential risks to business operations, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Qualifications And Experience
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and DR/BCP roles
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Solid knowledge of ITIL best practices and frameworks
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Capacity for both autonomous work and productive cross-functional team collaboration
