Role: Infrastructure Automation Engineer (Terraform)
Location: Pune/Nagpur, Maharashtra - Onsite Office
Duration: Fulltime
Experience: 8 to 10 years
Working Hours: UK time shift (2:00 pm to 11:00 pm IST)
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or 15 days max.
Role Summary:
We are looking for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer with around two years of relevant experience. The role focuses on Terraform and Chef module development, ERP workload management as IaC, CI/CD pipeline support, and configuration automation in AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support redesign of Terraform modules for ERP workloads.
- Test modular Terraform code changes.
- Troubleshoot Application onboarding and related Terraform issues.
- Align Terraform modules with SAP ERP architecture.
- Write and maintain Terraform code for enterprise environments.
- Update and troubleshoot Chef cookbooks for SAP ERP systems.
- Support configuration automation using Chef.
- Document processes and designs in Confluence.
- Follow SDLC processes using Jira and IRIS ServiceNow.
- Participate in test case creation for Terraform and Chef automation.
- Contribute to code reviews and knowledgesharing sessions.
Required Skills:
- Handson experience with Terraform Development.
- Experience in Chef recipes development and troubleshooting
- Experience in writing Shell Scripts and code in Python
- Basic understanding of AWS infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP architecture.
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Understanding of SDLC and Jira workflows.
- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience as DevOps in large structured enterprise environments.
- Understanding of CI/CD best practices for managing Infrastructure as Code.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Around two years of relevant handson experience.
