- As an Infrastructure and Application Estate Manager within the CB Technology you will be responsible for both governance of Infrastructure spend as well as driving opportunities for RTB cost reductions, working closely with peers in CB and the wider TDI organisation.
- The role will also play a part in the ongoing TDI driven Infrastructure Improvement programs, driving up our percentage of usage on Invest platforms, including Cloud Adoption.
- You will need to have a collaborative mind-set and enjoy partnering closely with the CIO Domain cloud leads, the Central TDI Infrastructure and other CB Estate Managers to align, drive and support strategic solutions. Your key responsibilities
- Engage with key stakeholders across the CB organization to drive forward infrastructure compliance and cost saving initiatives
- Engage with representatives from CBs agile tribe teams to capture application retirement strategies/plans and cross reference these plans with infrastructure and cloud activities
- Govern new demand to ensure we continue to right size our Infrastructure Estate
- Tracking and reporting on key assigned Optimization goals, both for RTB Saves and Estate Modernization
- Design and deliver management reporting that communicates the status and progress of technology initiatives up to the management board level
- Liase with the central TDI teams for alignment of metrics and reporting
- Contribute to the analysis and identification of RTB Save opportunities
- Support the identification and resolution of solution design requirements with the TI delivery teams
- Take ownership of specific optimization streams of work
- Support the development of operational processes to make the Estate run more smoothly
- Develop and maintain a very clear understanding of the lifecycle and roadmap for Infrastructure products
- Create strategic solutions that consider the risk, benefits and conflicts of the situation
- Facilitate across teams and networks to generate well-considered solutions
- Be a visible and positive Estate manager who inspires trust and confidence
- Identify and resolve barriers to business deliveries and implement solutions which iteratively deliver value
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Infrastructure delivery functions
- Support Cloud Adoption with the specific CB Domains, from analysis through to onboarding
- Develop processes and controls around Cloud financials / estate management
Your skills and experience
- Experience: 10 to 15 years
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise infrastructure
- A base level understanding of Cloud technologies and a strong desire to enhance knowledge and experience of the Cloud
- Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to work and manage initiatives both independently and as part of a team
- Gathers and analyses information from different sources to form compelling and innovative concepts and models
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective and efficient processes to solve business challenges
- Strong Analytical and communication capabilities
- Skilled in building productive networks to drive collaboration, re-use and knowledge sharing
- Influences by fully understanding the concerns and perspectives of others
