Infrastructure & Cloud Practice Leader

Role Summary

The Infrastructure & Cloud Practice Leader is a senior executive ( Senior Manager / SR. Consultant) responsible for building, scaling, and governing end-to-end Infrastructure and Cloud service offerings across enterprise customers. This role owns practice strategy, large-deal solutioning, delivery assurance, financial performance, and go-to-market execution, with a strong focus on managed services, cloud transformation, cost optimization, and operational excellence understanding.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of experience delivering and leading large, multi-tower infrastructure and cloud engagements, including complex RFPs, transitions, and multi-year managed services contracts with minimal or no support, basis Individual starter and responsible to own end – end proposals / pursuits

Key Responsibilities

1. Practice Strategy & P&L Ownership

• Define and execute the Infra & Cloud practice strategy, aligned with company growth objectives.

• Own P&L, margin improvement, utilization, and cost governance for the practice.

• Build scalable service portfolios across:

o Data Center & Hybrid Infrastructure

o Public Cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP)

o Digital Workplace & End-User Services

o Network, Voice & Field Services

o Security & Compliance (Infra-led)

• Drive standardization, automation, and industrialization of services.

2. Deal Solutioning & RFP Leadership

• Lead end-to-end solutioning for large, complex deals (multi-tower, multi-region, multi-year).

• Act as the executive solution authority for Infra and Cloud scoping:

o Managed services vs T&M models

o Pricing constructs and commercials

o Risk identification and mitigation

o Transition and transformation strategy part of solutioning

• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Legal during RFP, RFQ, and renewal cycles.

• Present solutions and value propositions to CxOs and senior customer stakeholders.

3. Go-to-Market & Offerings Development

• Build and evolve Infra & Cloud GTM offerings, including:

o Managed Services bundles (Good / Better / Best)

o Cloud migration and modernization

o Cost take-out and optimization programs

o Automation- and AI-led infrastructure services

• Support account mining, cross-sell, and upsell strategies.

• Collaborate with marketing and alliances to position differentiated solutions.

4. Partner & Alliance Management

• Own strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, OEMs, and technology partners.

• Leverage alliances to:

o Enhance solution differentiation

o Reduce cost and delivery risk

o Accelerate innovation and automation

• Guide certification, skilling, and partner-led enablement programs.

5. Talent & Practice Leadership

• Build and mentor high-performing solution architects, SMEs, and delivery leaders.

• Define capability roadmap, certification strategy, and hiring plans.

• Act as a thought leader and coach across Infra & Cloud teams.

6.Required Experience & Qualifications

Experience

• 20+ years in Infrastructure, Cloud, or IT Services leadership roles.

• Proven experience leading:

o S/M/L enterprise deals ($10M–$50M+ TCV)

o multi-tower managed services engagements

o Global delivery models (Onsite / Nearshore / Offshore / Field)

• Strong background in:

o Managed services commercial models

o Service transitions and transformations

o Cost optimization and margin management

7.Technical & Domain Expertise

• Deep knowledge of:

o Hybrid Infrastructure & Data Centers

o Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)

o ITSM, ITOM, and automation frameworks

o Digital Workplace & End-User Services

• Strong understanding of:

o Security, compliance, and resiliency concepts

o Enterprise tooling ecosystems

8.Leadership & Business Skills

• Executive-level communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to influence C-suite customers and internal leadership.

• Strong financial acumen (pricing, margin, TCO, ROI).

• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution mindset.

Note - Flexible for remote work location from Bangalore & Chennai (if possible).
