Information Technology Support Specialist

Geoserve is seeking a IT Engineer(4-6 Years) to support and maintain our IT infrastructure, assist in implementing cybersecurity measures, and contribute to strategic IT initiatives. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Support

• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems to support business operations
• Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Security and Compliance

• Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures aligned with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Contribute to audits and coordinate remediation activities for security and compliance gaps.
• Participate in regular risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident management.

IT Strategy & Roadmap

• Execute IT procedures aligned with business goals
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve efficiency, security, and competitiveness.
• Oversee IT asset management, licensing, and cost optimization.

What We're Looking For

• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking.
• Experience Range -4-6 Years
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Knowledge & Expertise

Hands-on understanding of cloud technologies ((AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) networks, systems, and enterprise tools.

Good knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and ISO standards (ISO 27001 preferred).

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and server management.

Experience with IT security frameworks and compliance standards.
