Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and lead a small team of 56 sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, client acquisition, and team management, along with a deep understanding of the IT services landscape.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can actively contribute to sales while ensuring team performance, process efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities in the IT services domain

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients

Lead end-to-end sales cycles: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closure

Develop strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and expand client base

Explore new markets, partnerships, and business channels

Client Relationship Management

Understand client requirements and propose suitable IT solutions

Act as a primary point of contact for key clients

Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term engagement

Handle escalations and resolve client concerns effectively

Team Management

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 56 sales executives

Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and training

Set individual and team targets and ensure achievement

Foster a high-performance and collaborative work environment

Process & Operations

Ensure smooth execution of sales processes and workflows

Track sales metrics, pipeline, and reporting

Collaborate with internal teams (recruitment, delivery, operations) to ensure successful project execution

Implement best practices to improve efficiency and conversion rates

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in IT Sales / Business Development

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth

Strong understanding of IT services, technologies, and market trends

Experience in handling and managing a team

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Hands-on approach with the ability to contribute individually as well as lead

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in B2B IT sales (Domestic/International markets)

Exposure to staffing, software services, or IT consulting sales

MBA in Sales/Marketing or relevant field
