IT Sales Manager
Location – Bangalore
About the role
The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible to lead, drive and execute the overall services growth strategy in the region as well as creating and converting sales opportunities for their respective accounts and portfolios. This is primarily a new logo hunting role. The SM will drive the service sales in South region, and work collaboratively and partner with the pre-sales / solutioning, delivery and functional teams.
Desired Qualification & Experience:
• 15+ years of IT services sales experience, with at least 5+ years selling to GCC's in India
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets. References should be available on request to confirm the stated performance.
• Strong network of industry relationships within the GCC sector.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, negotiation & closing skills and strong presentation skills
Roles & Responsibilities
Territory & Account Management
• Create territory/account plans including opportunity development, competitive strategies and targets for the region/assigned accounts.
• Identify and create new opportunities and work with service / practice leaders to continuously increase prospect and opportunity funnel. Meet or exceed the monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
• Work collaboratively with marketing function to plan and execute on growth programs
• Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of solution/services. Be able to present and discuss the value proposition and benefits which are relevant to customers.
• Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge related to their product/solutions/services.
• Represent the company at relevant technology conferences and exhibitions/events to promote solution/services and company
The other critical pivots for the business include;
• Critical choices - BFSI industry segment & 6 digital technology services
• Geo coverage thru Hub & Spoke strategy. India as Global delivery hub, Dubai (MEA) & Singapore (SEA) as 3 hubs having local presence (office & partnerships) as per regulations & business needs.
• Tech Biz culture & talent management policies benchmarked with IT industry.
