Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and energetic IT Sales Executive to drive sales of our flagship Broker Management System BrokerZen.
The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in selling SaaS platforms, enterprise software, or IT solutions to B2B clientspreferably in the insurance ecosystem (Brokers, Agents, IMFs, POSPs).
You will be responsible for generating leads, pitching product demos, managing client relationships, and driving conversions. This is a fast-growing InsurTech startup environment where ownership, hustle, and communication excellence matter.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and prospect insurance brokers, corporate agents, IMFs, POSP networks, and aggregators.
- Build a qualified sales pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, and industry events.
- Maintain and update lead tracking in CRM.
Client Engagement & Product Demonstration
- Conduct professional demos of BrokerZen showcasing key modules (Policy Servicing, Claims, Renewals, Reconciliation, POSP, Billing, EB, etc.).
- Understand customer needs and map them to product capabilities.
- Present business value, ROI, and automation benefits for brokers.
Sales Closure & Negotiation
- Own end-to-end sales cycleproposal creation, negotiations, pricing discussion, and contract finalization.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Coordinate between product, tech, and leadership teams for smooth onboarding.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term trusted relationships with broker partners and key decision makers.
- Gather product feedback to help improve BrokerZen roadmap.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and account retention.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales data, call logs, proposals, and follow-ups.
- Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports and forecast revenue.
- Work closely with leadership to refine sales strategy and market positioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA / PGDM preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior SaaS / IT product sales experience will be highly valued.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of software / SaaS products and ability to explain technical concepts simply.
- Experience in B2B sales (preferably IT, SaaS, fintech, insurance).
- Ability to conduct online demos (Google Meet/Zoom) and in-person meetings.
- Comfortable using CRM tools, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, etc.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work in startup culture.
- Knowledge of the Indian insurance ecosystem (brokers, POSP, distribution channels) is a strong advantage.
