On-site Employment Type: Full-time, W2 Experience: 3–5 years in IT staffing/recruitment (North America/Canada focus)
Role Summary Experienced IT Staffing Recruiter responsible for full-cycle recruitment of technical talent for North America clients. Own requisitions from intake through offer and onboarding, build pipelines for hard-to-fill IT roles, and ensure timely placement of W2 contractors and direct hires. Work collaboratively with account managers, hiring managers, and operations teams in an on-site office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT roles (developers, engineers, architects, QA, DevOps, data, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.) across North America.
- Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and Boolean searches; build and maintain active talent pipelines.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone/video interviews, assess technical fit and culture alignment, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews, provide candidate prep, collect feedback, and drive decisions to closure.
- Negotiate offers, manage W2 employment/contract terms, and coordinate background checks and onboarding with HR/operations.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information in ATS; produce status reports and recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, submittal-to-interview ratio, etc.).
- Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers and clients to understand hiring needs, priorities, and market trends.
- Proactively fill pipeline for recurring and anticipated needs; anticipate skill gaps and recommend sourcing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, client requirements, and company policies for North America placements.
- Participate in team meetings, process improvements, and employer branding initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years direct experience in IT staffing/recruitment with a focus on the North American market.
- Proven experience placing W2 contractors and/or direct hires.
- Strong sourcing skills: Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social sourcing, and networking.
- Experience with ATS (e.g., Bullhorn, iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever) and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Solid understanding of technical roles and technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, JavaScript frameworks, AWS/Azure/GCP, SQL/NoSQL, DevOps tools).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in-office full time and collaborate effectively in person.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational/time-management skills.
- Authorization to work in [Country] without sponsorship (if applicable).
Preferred
- Experience working with managed services or staffing agencies.
- Familiarity with compliance for W2 employment, payroll, and background screening processes.
- Certifications (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional–Recruiter) a plus.
