Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Manage cross-functional project teams and ensure accountability for milestones.
- Track project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead functional testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure clear communication between business users, product owners, and technical teams.
- Facilitate meetings, status updates, and project documentation.
- Support change management processes and rollout planning.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and ensure knowledge transfer.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a functional/business-facing role within a tech or software environment.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional software projects from initiation to delivery.
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and requirements gathering.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project).
- Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field; PMP, CSM, or similar certification a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
- Familiarity with SaaS products or enterprise software delivery.
- Knowledge of data analytics or software development cycles.
- Prior experience working with offshore or distributed teams.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- MBA or master's degree is a plus.
