About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on, startup-minded IT professional who can own day-
to-day IT support while also driving core IT operations (access,
onboarding/offboarding, SOPs) and supporting Azure-based infrastructure
provisioning. This role also includes vendor/license coordination and light
admin/logistics related to device management. You'll be the make-things-work
person for a lean team.
Key Responsibilities:
1) End-User IT Support (L1/L2)
- Troubleshoot employee laptop and workplace tech issues (connectivity,
mic/camera, basic software issues).
- Create and maintain simple SOPs/checklists so employees can self-serve where possible.
- Coordinate hardware repairs with OEM/service centers (e.g., HP) and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain an inventory of devices, peripherals, and standard configurations.
2) IT Operations / SysAdmin (Access + Process)
- Own RBAC and user access provisioning across systems (email, tools, cloud consoles, internal apps).
- Run onboarding/offboarding end-to-end: account setup/removal, device handover/return, access revocation, and documentation.
- Define and enforce IT SOPs for security and consistency (ISO compliance, MFA baseline, device hygiene, etc.).
- Perform periodic access reviews and ensure least-privilege access.
3) Azure / DevOps Support (Practical, Startup Scale)
- Provision and manage Azure resources as needed (core compute/storage/networking basics).
- Assist with operational hygiene: monitoring basics, backups, access control alignment, cost awareness.
- Work with engineering/leadership to standardise environments and reduce manual work.
- Document runbooks for recurring operational tasks.
4) Vendor, Licensing & Procurement Support
- Manage vendor relationships for IT software/services: quotations, renewals,license procurement.
- Track license assignments, renewal dates, and usage.
- Support negotiation and cost optimisation (benchmark quotes, recommend options, escalate approvals).
5) Admin + IT Logistics
- Coordinate logistics for devices (shipping/pickup, replacements, returns during exits).
- Ensure timely retrieval of company assets from departing employees and handover to new joiners.
- Act as the bridge between admin operations and IT needs.
6) On-Call / Critical Support
- Provide on-call support for critical issues during agreed windows (including rare black swan scenarios).
- Triage incidents, coordinate resolution, and communicate status to stakeholders.
7) HR Admin Activities
- Event Support: Coordinate internal events, celebrations, and logistics (including cakes and materials).
- ID & Access Management: Handle ID card creation, access card deployment, updates, and tracking.
- Admin Support to HR: Act as the administrative arm for HR by managing onboarding logistics, documentation, and office coordination.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 6 to 10 years of experience in a hands-on IT role in a small/fast-moving environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and user support skills (Windows/macOS basics,networking fundamentals).
- Experience managing access controls, onboarding/offboarding, and IT documentation/SOPs.
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure and Microsoft Environments (resource provisioning, identities/permissions, basic ops).
- Comfort dealing with vendors: quotes, renewals, licensing, and coordination.
- High ownership: can operate independently with minimal structure.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with MDM / endpoint management, device compliance, security baselines.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools and IT asset management.
- Scripting/automation mindset (No-Code/PowerShell/Bash).
- Experience in regulated environments or with security controls (ISO,MFA,least privilege, audit readiness).
