Job Description:-

The Techno-Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) will be responsible for end-to-end ownership, development, and support of our client's global ERP environment. This strategic, high-impact role will be instrumental in leading incremental and transformational initiatives on Business Central that shapes the future of our client Business Central ecosystem. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms. The ideal candidate is both technical and functional— able to analyse requirements, configure, customize, optimize workflows, and lead enhancements and provide application support.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Enhancement Projects

• Lead end-to-end BC implementation lifecycle for new sites, modules, and processes.

• Understand business requirements and functional specs and translate them into technical design and implementation.

• Work with client IT teams on development and customization.

• Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support

• Support training, and hyper-care phases.

Application Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide Level 2/3 support to multiple teams for BC functional and technical issues.

• Document fixes, SOPs, FAQs, and best practices to ensure system stability.

Agile Ways of Working

• Collaborate with product owners and developers to refine and prioritize product backlog items.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 10-13 years of overall IT experience out of which 6-8 years as a Techno-Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Minimum 2 full end-to-end BC implementations (from requirement gathering to go-live).

• Strong functional understanding of OMS and WMS modules including Inventory, Sales

• Deep knowledge of BC architecture, AL development, and integrations (APIs, OData, Web Services).

• Experience integrating BC with other third-party applications.

• Hands-on experience with workflows, extensions, and error debugging.

• Strong documentation, training, and user-support capability.

Should-Have

• Strong experience with Azure (Functions, Key Vault, DevOps Pipelines).

• Proficient across the Microsoft ecosystem with a strong understanding of data security & governance.
