Position: Manager - Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Support

Location & work mode: Pune Hybrid, India Day Shift. Flexibility required to stretch and support global teams and business operations when needed.

Role Summary

The IT Services Manager Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Support is a senior technical leadership role responsible for the end-to-end management of enterprise cloud, on-premises infrastructure, and Microsoft platform services.

This role combines strategic architecture ownership with operational leadership to ensure highly available, secure, scalable, and modern IT services across the organization. The position will lead the design, modernization, automation, and operational governance of IT infrastructure while supporting large-scale enterprise environments across multiple geographies.

The role also provides technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and team management, ensuring reliable delivery of infrastructure and platform services aligned with business goals.

Experience

1015 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Platforms, and Enterprise IT Services.

Hands-on experience managing production environments in public cloud platforms such as

Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.

Proven experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure supporting 10,000+ users

(preferred).

Experience in leading and mentoring technical infrastructure or platform teams.

Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills.

Core Responsibilities:

Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy

• Define and drive the organization's cloud and infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
• Lead application and infrastructure migrations from on-premises environments to public
• cloud platforms.
• Evaluate cloud services, infrastructure technologies, and enterprise platforms to ensure
• performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Recommend best-fit architecture solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise
• standards.
• Promote automation, infrastructure as code, and modern platform practices.

Platform & IT Services Operations

• Own and manage enterprise IT Platform Services, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory,
• Email Security, and Backup solutions.
• Manage enterprise SaaS platforms and integrations with the corporate IT ecosystem.
• Oversee software subscriptions, license governance, and renewal management.
• Provide technology consulting to business stakeholders on IT capabilities and solution
• design.
• Act as SPOC for digital transformation initiatives and internal IT development projects.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience across infrastructure services.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes aligned with SLA/KPI targets.
• Conduct regular health checks across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and
• email security gateways.
• Ensure seamless operations across hybrid environments (cloud and on-premises).

Microsoft Platform & Endpoint Management

• Architect, administer, and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including: Exchange Online, Azure AD / Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, Security & Compliance Centre
• Manage Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, governance, and license optimization.
• Oversee endpoint and device management platforms such as Intune, ManageEngine, and Freshservice.
• Drive automation initiatives, AI adoption use cases, and process optimization within

enterprise IT services.

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance teams to enforce cloud and platform security policies.
• Implement and manage identity and security controls, including: Conditional Access,
• EDR/XDR, WIP / AIP, Identity governance
• Manage email security technologies including Barracuda Email Security Gateway and standards such as: SPF, DKIM, DMARC
• Oversee Public DNS management and identity governance frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards across IT infrastructure.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop IT infrastructure and platform teams.
• Provide L2/L3 technical guidance and escalation support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology partners for service delivery.
• Oversee IT software procurement, subscriptions, and license renewals.
• Drive team performance management and professional development.
• Prepare and present operational reports, adoption metrics, service performance, and licensing insights to leadership.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

Infrastructure & Identity: Active Directory (On-Premises): AD DS, DNS, Group Policy, Disaster Recovery, Backup & Restore.

Cloud Platforms: MicrosoftAzure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform

Enterprise Platforms: Microsoft 365 Suite, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams.

Endpoint Management: Microsoft Intune, ManageEngine

Automation & Scripting: PowegrShell, Infrastructure automation practices

IT Service Management: ITIL-based service operations, Incident, Problem & Change Management

Architecture & Design: Hybrid infrastructure architecture, Cloud solution architecture, Enterprise platform design.

Qualifications & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field

Relevant certifications preferred, such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator /

Architect, Microsoft 365 Certifications, AWS Solutions Architect, ITIL Foundation or

Practitioner.

Role Impact

This role serves as a key technical consultant reporting to the Head of IT and bridges Cloud Infrastructure leadership with Enterprise IT Platform Management. It ensures strategic modernization while maintaining operational excellence, security, and service reliability across the organization's IT ecosystem.
