Job Title: Intern MIS Monitoring & IT Application Development Support

Job Description:
The Intern (MIS Monitoring & IT Application development support) will assist in managing and strengthening the organisation's Management Information System (MIS), support in monitoring and contribute to application development, its enhancements, testing and deployment. The intern will work closely with the Cloud, IT and MIS team to ensure accurate data capture, reporting and ensure the efficiency of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. MIS Monitoring & Data Management
- Support regular monitoring of programme data entries across projects and locations.
- Validate, clean and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in generating periodic MIS reports (weekly/fortnightly/monthly/quarterly).
- Identify data gaps and follow up with field teams for corrections.
2. Dashboard & Reporting Support
- Assist in creating and updating dashboards
- Support preparation of analytical reports for management review.
- Help in designing data visualisation formats for decision-making.
3. Application Development Support
- Support testing (UAT) of web/mobile applications.
- Document bugs, issues and enhancement requests.
- Coordinate with developers for troubleshooting and improvements.
- Help in preparation of user manuals and SOP documentation.
4. Documentation & Process Improvement
- Document workflows, MIS processes and change logs.
- Suggest improvements for better efficiency and automation.
- Support digitisation initiatives across projects.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in:
- Computer Science / IT / Data Science
- Statistics
- Or related field
- Working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of databases (MySQL/ PostgreSQL preferred).
- Basic knowledge of web technologies (React, HTML, CSS, basic Python/JavaScript preferred), back-end and SDLC.
- Basic understanding of Testing, working of Cloud Services (AWS/Azure) and Application deployment on cloud.
- Strongly interested in learning and implementing new technologies, automation, and AI tools in development
Learning Outcomes:
- Hands-on experience in managing MIS systems in the development sector.
- Exposure to real-time data monitoring and practical dashboard development.
- Understanding of how WOTR works technologically and managerially
- Experience in application testing and digital system improvement.
