The Internship
We are looking for a hybrid tech and design powerhouse to join us as our Product Experience & QA Intern based in Gurugram.
In a multi-sided marketplace, the product needs to be both incredibly intuitive and flawlessly functional. You will wear two critical hats: the Architect and the Inspector. You will help design the digital experience that bridges anxious patients with busy dentists, and then you will actively try to break those same features to hunt down bugs before we launch. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the core product lifecycle of a disruptive healthcare tech startup in one of India's biggest tech hubs.
Key Responsibilities
- UX/UI Prototyping & Strategy: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes (to optimize the user journeys for both Demand (patients) and Supply (clinics bidding on procedures).
- Stress-Testing the Bidding Engine (QA): Rigorously test the reverse-auction platform. Hunt down edge cases: What happens if two clinics bid at the exact same millisecond What happens if a patient cancels
- Trust & Credibility Design: Strategize how to visually display our Verified Rating System within the app to maximize patient trust and conversion rates without cluttering the interface.
- Cross-Platform Bug Tracking: Conduct comprehensive manual testing of the web platform and mobile app. Identify, document, and report bugs clearly to our engineering team using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- User Flow Auditing: Step into the shoes of the user, testing the entire lifecycle of a booking from the initial UX design phase all the way through to the live, coded feature.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree from premium colleges in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- The Dual Mindset: You possess deep user empathy (to design frictionless experiences) combined with a ruthless, analytical breaker mindset (to find where the code fails).
- Tech & Design Tools: Proficiency in modern UI tools (Figma is a must). Familiarity with basic QA methodologies, agile environments, or bug tracking tools is highly preferred.
- Problem Solver: You don't just point out a bad design or a broken button; you suggest the logical fix for it.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical glitches or design theories into clear, actionable steps for our developers. Fluency in English and Hindi is essential for localized user testing.
